In this first course of the Computer Vision for Engineering and Science specialization, you'll be introduced to computer vision, focusing on common algorithms for feature detection, extraction, and matching. You'll learn to align satellite images and stitch them together to create a larger scene.
The course covers applications such as motion estimation, object tracking, and machine learning. Features are used to estimate geometric transformations and perform image registration. MATLAB, widely used in engineering and science, will be used throughout the course, and free access will be provided.
